Just a sidenote, but maybe someone @twitter might take notice: While twitter fails to allow a new account to even get towards doing commercials, their system is also flawed (requires phone number, doesn't accept phone number as correct, causes endless sms' - which hopefully don't come at a charge), it allows a plethora of dipweasels (i hope that's an acceptable sweraword to follow said business account, offering sexual services. Now, I'm not anti-sexual or anything but that's a serious flaw and I wonder whether they're aware of what this does to their buisness.

I feel best served as a customer and as a business when - in case of doubt, I have a human to
contact,
sort out stuff,
and in the event of necessity, swear at.

Twitter seems to be oblivious to that notion and while I have heard that ebveryone is so happ working at twitter, that probably has to do with no-one ever having to get in touch with customers or businesses on the phone or via mail or what have you.

Anyway, sorry for hijacking this, I thought I'd mention it, what with the article mentioning organic growth rates halting and all that. Good article, would love not know more anout the way you measure all this.

Great article. I still believe that the companies with a strong digital presence are making waves in social media but I completely agree. The stats telll the story but believe it or not, my instagram account has been receiving much more engagement than before.

P.S. I have a few blog posts up already: isymbolizemedia.co

I'm writing the "Why"and "What" of Marketing Automation right now should you have any interest in a guest post.
