You cant pay for people just to look at your work and as a very low selling product (per volume of traffic) it is making it impossible to function.

When they brought in GST in Australia (a broad ‘tax on everything’) they ended up having to add a special section especially for artists because so many people lived on such a low income and yet still continued to work ( I think the average income across the board was 12 000 a year before expenses)

The loss of artists in peoples feed is a tragedy – it will devalue facebook – they need to make concessions for them
